The 5th International Conference on Defence and Security Technology (DSTC 2020) was organized by the National Defence University of Malaysia (UPNM). Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, DSTC 2020 was successfully conducted in a fully virtual format, continuing its mission to promote academic and industrial collaboration in the field of defence science and technology.

DSTC has served as a platform for knowledge sharing and innovation among academicians, defence researchers, industrial experts, and armed forces personnel. The 2020 edition aimed to facilitate research dissemination, foster collaboration, and highlight the latest advancements in defence technology, sustainability, and security solutions.
